Organizational Training & HR Compliance

Standardizing the Employee Experience

I specialize in creating streamlined, self-paced onboarding and professional development modules that ensure institutional consistency and policy adherence. My work in this area focuses on taking complex HR requirements and translating them into engaging, digestible learning paths for university staff and faculty.

Compliance-Driven Design

In collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the University of Denver, I have designed and deployed mission-critical trainings required for university operations and legal compliance:

  • Supervisory Core Competencies: Equipping leaders with the essential tools and knowledge to manage teams effectively within the university framework. This also included personalized modules regarding culture, systems, resources and best practices.

  • Self-Paced New Hire Orientation: A comprehensive digital welcome that standardizes the onboarding journey for every new employee, for both benefited and non-benefited employees. This asynchronous experience allows employees to learn in their preferred modality on their own time.

  • I-9 Verification Supervisor Training: A high-accuracy module designed to ensure strict adherence to federal employment eligibility requirements.

Technical Proficiency & Vendor Integration

I utilize a “best tool for the task” approach to development, balancing custom-built content with industry-standard third-party resources:

  • Articulate 360 (Rise): Leveraging Rise to create responsive, mobile-friendly modules that allow busy employees to complete training whenever and wherever they are.

  • SCORM & Third-Party Integrations: Expertly managing the integration of third-party content (such as Vector Solutions) into the university’s ecosystem, ensuring seamless data tracking and completion reporting.

  • SME Collaboration: Acting as the bridge between technical HR policies and the end-user experience, ensuring that every training is as functional as it is compliant.
