Assessment & Data Analytics: Turning Insights into Impact
The Metrics-Driven Roadmap
Data-driven decision-making is at the forefront of my design philosophy. I prioritize a metrics-driven roadmap for every integration, ensuring that every technological or pedagogical shift is directly guided by measurable learning outcomes. Collecting data is only the first step; the true value lies in constant iteration to address emerging needs, shifting trends, and evolving organizational goals.
Strategic Data Collection & Pattern Recognition
I leverage a diverse toolkit—including Qualtrics, Google Forms, and integrated LMS analytics—to identify patterns in learner behavior. This allows me to:
-
Anticipate Needs: Moving from a reactive stance to a predictive one by understanding how learners engage with content in real-time.
-
Climate Checks: Utilizing assessment not just for grading, but as a “bidirectional” touchpoint. I implement mid-semester feedback loops to gauge student sentiment and course health, allowing for agile adjustments before the term ends.
Data Storytelling for Leadership
I believe that data is only as powerful as the narrative it informs. I have extensive experience managing focus groups and large datasets across various modalities, but my specialty is illustrating that data into digestible narratives for leadership teams.
-
Personalized Dashboards: I assist in the creation of dashboards that display specific, high-level metrics tailored to business and academic needs.
-
Actionable Intelligence: My goal is to move beyond “reporting” and provide leadership with the clarity needed to make confident, strategic decisions.
The Human Element
At the core of all data points are human beings and human behavior. I maintain a firm belief that data is only as important as the people using it. By keeping a human-centered lens on my analytics, I ensure that our technical “wins” always translate into a better, more supportive experience for the students and faculty at the heart of the program.
To maintain institutional confidentiality, the following visualizations exclude proprietary algorithms and deep-level sensitive data. All displayed dashboards have been scrubbed of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and are intended to demonstrate my proficiency in managing and analyzing large-scale datasets within an enterprise environment. I view Business Intelligence as a cornerstone of strategic growth, leveraging data-driven insights to formulate clear, actionable roadmaps for organizational success.
Canvas Catalog & Canvas Instructure Dashboard
I manage high-volume data sets within Canvas Catalog, overseeing enrollment trends and completion metrics for all employee training initiatives at the University of Denver. By utilizing these robust analytics, I am able to provide leadership with actionable insights into learner engagement and program effectiveness, ensuring our professional development roadmaps are always driven by verified performance data.

LinkedIn Learning – Administrative Dashboard (snippet)
I specialize in architecting integrated learning ecosystems by leveraging external platforms like LinkedIn Learning to supplement internal curricula. By synthesizing engagement data from these diverse sources, I can track how professional development pathways translate into tangible skill acquisition across the organization, ensuring our digital strategy is as cohesive as it is comprehensive.
